I would recommend Alan, he did a marvellous job on my 1998 Peugeot.
Another mechanic had told me my car was basically going to pack up as my engine was uncontrollably revving
and cutting out when I changed down gear. Alan knew what the problem was immediately. He sorted it really
quickly and was prepared to work it out and solve it, plus he sorted some little issues I mentioned in
passing and only noticed when I got home! He is efficient and really reasonably priced.

Over the last few years,
my 307cc has suffered major mechanical failures which to an experienced technician should have been easily identified.
After many a misdiagnosis including Peugeot themselves, I found Alan through his company website.
Within our initial conversation, it was clear that he was knowledgeable, experienced, and very analytical.
This gave me the confidence to register my car for repair. My trust was rewarded with his skill and ability to
understand and analyse the symptoms in great detail.
The treatment for the torque converter worked as predicted and saved me £000's.
The overheating engine is now running at perfect temperature. The air conditioning system now works as it should.
Alan is a rare find and his hard work and good nature is matched only by his care, tenacity and professionalism.

I had a massive amount of problems with a car I bought from some dodgy used car dealers, the engine started to
make a rattling noise and our local garage had noticed that the engine warning light had been blacked out!
OUr local garage then ran a diagnostics check on it which said we had a myriad of problems in the engine with
our oil injectors which we didn't even have and they wanted to charge us £1500 to fix a non-existent problem!!
I'm so glad I searched online and found Alan as he found out what the real problem was
(replaced cam timing chain and belt etc) among extras at a fraction of the cost! I also got my MOT test done while
my car was done and everything passed. Upon collecting my car, alan had replace my broken key and given me an
air freshener at no extra cost! It's the little touches, friendliness and level of expertise that make
Peugeot Repairs so great. Keep up the great work Alan and yoyo the dog, I'll be a regular from now on! :)

My car broke down 7 weeks ago and after taking it to a mechanic and differend garages I was advised that
the car should be scrapped and one of the mechanics asked me if I wanted to sell it to him for £100.
So had no car for nearly 7 weeks till I found Alan's Website. Wow! if I could give Alan 20 out of 10 I would.
He checked my car and in 4 hours my car was ready fixed and no problems since.
The fault was not what the other machanics said it was.

I have used PSR twice now and will use them in the future. The first
time I had various issues, including a stuck EGR valve. Other places
had quoted high prices for the EGR repair without fully understanding
the problem. Alan knew immediately what the issue was and repaired it
and a few other minor problems for a very reasonable cost.
I also had to have my starter motor replaced while I was travelling.
The garage I used installed a starter motor that was too small.
It worked for a while and then started working only intermittently.
Since I was not able to return to the place that had done the work I
took it to Alan who diagnosed the problem and installed the correct
starter motor (as well as replacing my brake pads and tightening my
heat shield) all for a very reasonable price.
Alan is clearly knowledgeable about Peugeots and a great alternative
to a dealer or an independent garage with no expertise in the marque.
Bring your Peugeot to him with confidence.

After 3 garages failed to solve my immobiliser fault, in desperation I booked a transporter to drop the car to N22.
I got a call saying the car had arrived at 1200 ish.
By 1330 I had another call saying the car was running! after a few other bits and a service,
I collected the car which is now somewhat smoother, Alan having cleaned out some of the fuel system .

The service was friendly, efficient and very reasonably priced -

My ABS light started to appear preceeded by a beeping sound.
I took my car to a local garage who were not helpful as they could not find the cause.
I found Alan after an Internet search and am I glad I did.
Within an hour of arriving, he had found the fault and provided me with a cost for a new ABS sensor.
The price included fitting and the diagnostic work undertaken.
It was a good job I was sitting down as the price was way below what I would expect from a main dealer.
40 minutes later I was off home.
I found Alan competant, helpful and well priced and would recommend his work to anyone.

After paying money for quotes from 3 other mechnics and getting extorshinate expensive quotes of up to £650
pounds, we were at our witts end.
After finding the required part online for £30, Alan did the job for £70. Took 1 day.
Alan is professional and polite.
Who knew there were still honest mechanics out there that dont try to rip you off!

I went to see Alan yesterday (24/08/2012). After a check at an independent garage which gave me a list of things
that needs atention i've called Alan. From all the list, the only things that need it atention where discs and
airbag light that was on since i bought the car. In about 4 hours I had new discs and brake pads + airbag light
off + a full computer diagnose and i was back on the road.
If you need a peugeot specialist, just call Alan. I had a great experience at an affordable price and as long as
i will have a peugeot i'll see Alan for any problems. That is what i call a specialist. Not going to a garage and
start to guess what is wrong with the car.....
Highly recommended.

I have only had the car about six weeks and it had obviously been neglected for some time. The mechanic who used
to look after my old car was not a peugeot specialist and could not identify the faults with the the engine
management and airbag systems.
Having no service history to speak of I thought it advisable to have the cam belt and water pump replaced.
Alan did everything that needed doing and answered all my questions about the car. I feel a lot happier with the
car as a result.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Alan to anyone. He is a Peugeot expert.

I took my 407 2.0 HDi to the main dealer after the Depolution warning came up.
I also asked them to inspect the lower ball joints. Later, I phoned for news and, for £75, this is what I was
told.
“We couldn’t do the work as the fuel cap sensor isn’t working, the EGR valve shows a fault and the car needs
hubs, lower ball-joints and new drive-shafts.”
In round terms,
The fuel cap sensor isn’t working = £200
The EGR valve is knackered = £400
Lower ball joints + drive-shafts + new hubs = £1,000
£1,600!
I took the car to Alan and mentioned the problems: one hour later, he had cured the EGR valve, pointed out that
the fuel cap sensor was intermittent but working, and that the Depolution filter had cleared itself as it should
do (£600 saved so far.)
He was surprised at the main dealer saying that car needing hubs as this cannot be diagnosed until the
ball-joints are off and the main dealer never did that.
A couple of days later, I returned to Alan for the lower ball joints + drive-shafts + new hubs. After removing
and replacing lower ball-joints, Alan told me that the hubs and drive-shafts were in good condition and did not
require replacing. (Another £800 saved.)
Alan’s a great guy, very knowledgeable, quick, and has realistic labour rates.

I had 'airbag fault' and 'anti-pollution fault' warning signals. I first took it to Robbins and Day Peugeot
dealers where after running two diagnostic tests weren't able to diagnose the faults - yet wanted to charge me
over £1000 to 'fix' what they thought could be the problems. (New engine harness, flow sensor, and comms unit!!)
Alan ran diagnostics, and fixed the problems for under a £100!!
